Online Training - Attendance and Cancellation Policy - Leanne Slater Studios Academy 

1. Attendance Requirements

Online courses require no physical classroom attendance in the academy. These are to be completed from your own home or working environment. 

Some courses may require an element of assessment via live or recorded video or photos. This will be stated inside each individual course platform. 

2. Refunds

All online training payments are strictly non refundable. 

3. Booking confirmations

Students will receive:

Automated booking email from our website provider upon checkout completion. Your online training email will then be sent to you no later than 48 hours after this. Please ensure you check your junk email folder in case it lands there. 

4. Duplication of course content

All course content belongs to Leanne Slater Studios. If anyone is found to be copying this content then legal action will be taken. 

5. Agreement to terms

By booking a course with Leanne Slater Studios you agree to all policies outline above. It is the students responsibility to read and understand these terms before booking. 

Classroom Training - Attendance and Cancellation Policy - Leanne Slater Studios Academy 

1. Attendance Requirements

Students are expected to attend all training sessions on the dates and times booked. Due to the nature of your practical training, your attendance is essential for both your learning outcomes and the smooth running of the academy.

2. 10 Day notice policy

If you are unable to attend your training you must notify us via email (leanneslaterstudios@outlook.com) at least 10 calendar days before your scheduled course date. Upon this notification we can offer you one free reschedule. Please see point 6.

Notices sent via social media platforms, text, phone call or what's app will not be accepted.

Only written communication via email is considered valid.

3. Late Cancellation (Less than 10 calendar days)

Cancellations made with less than 10 calendar days notice of the course date cannot be rescheduled. In this case the training is non refundable/transferable.

A new booking can be made online at the listed price. 

4. Emergency Circumstances

We understand that genuine emergencies do occur. At the academys sole discretion, a reschedule may be considered if:

• The student emails within 24 hours of the practical training start date and
• Appropriate evidence is provided (doctors note, hospital letter, bereavement proof, etc)

This is not guaranteed - it is a goodwill exception. If approved the student will be required to pay a discounted reschedule fee of £150 to cover towards the tutor, model and admin costs.

Please note that the following are not considered emergencies:

• Childcare or work issues
• Transport problems
• Feeling unwell without medical evidence
• Forgetting the course date 
• Alarm or schedule errors

5. No-show policy

A student will be considered a no show if:

• They do not attend their scheduled training and 
• They do not notify us via email before the start time of the course

All no shows forfeit their training place and any fees paid. A new booking must be made at the price listed online. 

6. Rescheduling fees and conditions 

If more than 10 calendar days notice is given for notice of non attendance, one reschedule will be offered free of charge. 

If a reschedule is approved under the emergency policy:

• A reschedule fee must be paid before the new date is issued
• Rescheduled dates are subject to availability 
• Only one reschedule is permitted per booking 

New dates must be scheduled within 6 months of the initial training date. If the rescheduled date is not adhered to then this will be treated as a no-show and the training will need to be re booked at the price listed online. 

7. Booking confirmations

Students will receive:

Automated booking email from our website provider upon checkout completion. We would strongly advise you make a note of your practical training dates in your personal calendar. 

8. Duplication of course content

All course content belongs to Leanne Slater Studios. If anyone is found to be copying this content then legal action will be taken. 

9. Agreement to terms

By booking a course with Leanne Slater Studios you agree to all policies outline above. It is the students responsibility to read and understand these terms before booking.
